We’re the Mercers! I’m Becky. Right now my identity is pretty much wrapped up in motherhood and kitchen floor crumbs, but I do have some other facets to my life as well.

I’m a Christian
Mom and Dad laid the foundation when I was a kid, then I made a renewed commitment to Jesus as a Junior in highschool through Young Life. As I plan my course in life, I rejoice that the Lord determines my steps (Proverbs 16:9).

I Homeschool
We use The Weaver Curriculum and have been very happy with it. Our son has just started 2nd grade and our daughter is a kindergartner.

I Scrapbook
While I have not been as consistent with my scrapping as I used to, I do love scrapbooking and have seven big, oversized binders full of memories to show for it. I’ve also been honored to be published in Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, and Paperkuts magazines. I’m hoping to set up a gallery of my work again soon. Stay tuned.

I Love Web Design
I learned HTML back in 1997 and I’ve always enjoyed coding from scratch. I used to design sites with table-laden code, but now I’m converted to CSS and standard compliant design. Once I discovered WordPress for my blogging, I was hooked. I designed this site using the well designed WordPress Probama theme as a boiler plate. Several of the graphics I used on this site are from Designer Digitals (purchased with the Photographer’s License). Other stock photos you see here and there are from The Stock Xchng.

Our Family
I have two darling kiddos, a daughter born in 2003 and a son born in 2001. I’ve been married to my supportive, loving husband for 13 years. We had a fish named Trixie, but she swam on to greater waters.
