Mine was frazzled. But let’s not dwell. Bob’s back from his class and his travels finally, so after a full night of sleep for both of us, we should both be feeling refreshed and perky tomorrow. Saturday date night can’t come soon enough. I’m so looking forward to partaking in a meal where I don’t have to:
a. Hop up every five seconds to get a straw, more pretzels, rinse the fork that dropped, etc.
b. Change a pull-up (or worse yet – undies) mid-meal.
c. Say "stop playing with your fork/spoon/fishstick/blueberries…" (just insert a utensil or food name)
d. Have my son inform me he’s changed his mind about his beverage or side dish preference after I’ve fetched it for him.
e. Hear "eeeww," "yuck," or "DD’s spitting again!" while trying to eat.
So I guess I am dwelling…o well. It’s been an exhausting week.
Watching skiing right now. I’m having some trouble with the ski coverage. One of the announcers sounds like Colin Mochrie of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" So I keep expecting him to walk in front of the coverage as if it were a blue screen like he does when he’s doing fake sports coverage on the show. Very distracting.
DD and I had some crafting time in the studio today. She adorned her paper and clothing with washable marker, and I created this little number:
That’s all for now…I’m off to bed!
