Mission Mouse – Our Disney Vacation Day 4

Magic Kingdom and My Favorite Restaurant Ever

At Last! Our vacation as a family offically began on Friday. We hit the Magic Kingdom right after our breakfast. First stop? Why, Buzz Lightyear, of course. I think DD might have enjoyed it even more than DS…her score was higher, anyway. :)

Other stops included Philharmagic, Pooh, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Small World, Piglet’s Playful Spot, The Steam Train, and The Haunted Mansion. As we exited the Haunted Mansion ride, DS stated quite firmly, "Mom, I don’t ever want to get on that ride ever, ever, EVER again." DD? She quipped, "It wasn’t spooky." These two are a riot.

We ate lunch at a counter service place in Tomorrowland called Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. We really enjoyed that place. In the past we have been less than pleased with Magic Kingdom counter service…this place was fun, less cramped, and the food was quite tasty. I purposely saved room, though…because a table at my favorite restaurant was reserved for the evening.

After returning to our room for a quick nap, we put our parkhopper ticket to good use and headed over to the San Angel Inn in Mexico at Epcot for dinner. Yum. I just love love LOVE that place. My favorite ever restaurant. Great food, FANTASTIC atmosphere.

To cap off our night, we checked out the sea pavillion, visited with Nemo and his friends, and Bob and I found our faces on the Leave a Legacy wall. Bob and I had this done right before I got pregnant with DS. DS and DD got a kick out of seeing us, but wondered where they were. :)

What a great day! Needless to say, we slept well that night.
