Mom’s colonoscopy was fine. Everything they saw was normal for a woman her age. What a relief. She is going to be trying out a gluten free diet for a while, as she suspects she may have something going on in her small intestine (I forget the name of the condition, but it is accompanied by a skin rash which she also has.) I doubt she is going to have an upper GI anytime soon for that, so the diet changes will have to do for now. I’m just so glad we got good news today. (and THANKS for your prayers, My Sharona!)
In other news, the kids have recently become completely enamored with a bear named Boz. We received a free sample DVD in the mail, and the kids LOVE it. Boz is kind of a cross between Barney the Dinosaur and Casey Kasem. He annoyed me at first, but the bear has grown on me after repeated viewings, which is unusal for me. The message is educational and God-centered. It’s a bit sugary-sweet at times, but frankly, anything that has my kids singing sweet worship songs and sweetly thanking each other after viewing has my vote. The actual product line will be launched on March 14th. You can bet the kidlets will have a little Boz love in their baskets this Easter.
Good news on your mom, and I’ve never heard of Boz, but I’m like you… I love to hear my 5 yr old dd praising God. It’s one of the most important things to me! I’ll have to check the Boz bear out! Thanks!
