A Collective Sigh…
…Is heard wafting from the Mercer household today. DD’s birthday is done. My baby girl is four. I’m sighing because the party is finally finished, it went well, and I can now stop inflating balloons and running Cinderella related errands. DD is sighing because she received some super cool gifts, including a Polly Pocket Scooter launch pad thingy, a cool play cell phone from her brother, and a Kid Tough Camera.
On Sunday, DD filled up her memory card in her camera, so we put the photos on the laptop and printed some for her…and ladies and gentlemen…a scrapbooker was born. She and I scrapbooked last night side by side. Pure heaven!

Speaking of sigh of relief: My father is now recovering at home after being hospitalized for a week with a pulmonary embolism. He is on blood thinners, is being closely monitored by his doctors, but has been feeling very good since returning home. In fact, it’s been tough for my mom to keep him out of his garden! Thank you to EVERYONE who prayed for him.
