DS ponders his next sand creation.

Monday was another beautiful day. We really had excellent weather for this trip. Even the hot days were tempered by a breeze. We followed what had become our typical routine…wake around 7:30ish, have breakfast, watch a little TV, then begin the process of making beds, getting suits on, and the slathering of much sunscreen. By 9:30 we were on the beach, watching the lifeguards set up their post a block down the beach.

Today, DD decided shells weren’t quite enough for her “lection.” She wanted a seagull, too. I’ll have to try to post the video we took of this child attempting to stalk a seagull. Man, was it funny.

Later in the afternoon, we went to the boardwalk arcade, played a few of DS and Anna B’s favorite games, and picked up a little meowing toy cat for DD. Yes, it meowed when you squeezed its belly. Yes, it was entertaining for exactly 10 seconds. DD loved it, and still does. What can ya do? We put up with it.

Dinner was pizza from our favorite pizzeria in Ocean City, Piccini. Man, that’s good pizza. I’m partial to the goat cheese pizza, but they have a bunch of other yummy options to choose from as well. If you are ever in OC, NJ you must try it!
