8×8 Scrapbook Sketches
For those of you who scrapbook, this might be useful! The other night I was fiddling around with some designs for 8×8 scrapbook pages. I just wanted a few clean, simple, 8×8 sketches that were easy to execute when it came time to scrap. If you have ever heard of Becky Higgins or Becky Fleck, you are probably familiar with the concept of scrapbook sketches. Basically, the sketch serves as a starting point when you sit down to do a scrapbook page, providing a guide as to where to place photos and accents in a way that is balanced and well designed.
I only scrapbook 8×8 pages when I’m doing a quick vacation album, so anything that streamlines the process is invaluable. I came up with 24 quick little sketches that I plan to use each time I make an 8×8 album.
Maybe someone will find these helpful! They are very simple designs, though…so you have been warned. If you would like to see more sketches, (by gals a heck of a lot more talented at sketches than me) check out these links:
Enjoy! And happy scrapping!
