Best Laid Plans
I had great plans for this week. Still do, actually. We are in Week 13 of Interlock in homeschool which includes a review of each of the seasons. However, all three days of school so far this week have been hampered by some health related issue for me. Monday I was sick with a cold. Monday and Tuesday I was limping around due to a sprained knee (I have no idea how I sprained it). Today is Wednesday. My knee feels a little better, but I’ve been enjoying abdominal pains all morning. This week has just further solidified in my mind that no matter how much time I spend planning my week, it’s PRAYER that will get me through and keep me focused. I can be prepared out the wazu with schedules and projects galore, but when outside factors wear me down, and my patience is thin, it’s GOD that will pick up the slack. I hope this post serves as an encouragement to anyone else that feels like I do today. With God as part of our classroom, even a sniffling, gimpy legged, tummy aching Mom can be an effective educator. Funny to watch maybe, but effective none the less.
