A Bowl of Cherries
Well, we’re back from the shore and we’re already missing the waves and sand. What better way to enjoy being back home than to go cherry picking! This is becoming a tradition for us after we return from the beach. Apparently, the weather has been perfect for cherries this year and our local orchard had a huge, healthy orchard full of u-pick yummy-ness. I didn’t even have to pick any this year…the kids happily did all the work! But I’ll have my hands full (quite literally) tonight when I start pitting the cherries for smoothies, water ice, and cherry crisp! Here are the photos:
