We had a happy, lazy Friday here. DS is off school again today, so the kids ate a late breakfast, watched a Dora marathon, and snuggled up under a blanket with the fireplace going. A lazy, goofy, dress-up-in-old-costumes kind of day.

I did manage to get a load of laundry done, and *gasp* I actually managed to scrapbook while DD napped. DS and I settled into the studio as soon as I put her down. He did his Color Wonders and I scrapped some photos for a friend of mine. It was a creative stretch for me. She only does 12 x 12 layouts, so that’s what I created for her. You see, I’m a die hard 8.5 x 11 girl. I’ve created all of eight 12 x 12 layouts in all my years of scrapping. I’ve been waffling back and forth on adding 12 x 12 to my repetoire, so this was a fun challenge for me.

On a random note, here’s some weird sentences I found myself uttering today:

"DS, get your feet off your sister’s head."

"DD, don’t put all the baby corn in your mouth at once."

"DS, don’t whine. It’s ok that the ‘H’ in ‘Pooh’ doesn’t fit. P-O-O spells ‘Poo’ too."
