Monkey Bread

I’m finally posting another recipe! I made monkey bread this morning, and actually remembered to get hubby to take a photo of it! This recipe is really easy, using store bought breadstick dough as a short cut. It tastes very yummy, and not overly “Pillsbury-ish” for lack of a better term!
1 package Pillsbury Breadsticks
Cinnamon/sugar mixture
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (I use Smart Balance – turns out fine)
Preheat oven to 325. I put my stoneware loaf pan in to heat up at this point. Cut each bread stick strip into 8 pieces. Spread pieces out on a cookie sheet or large cutting board and sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar, tossing them around a bit to coat.
Arrange in layers in a pie or bundt pan, or as in my case, the heated stoneware.
Melt butter and brown sugar together and pour over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Turn pan upside down on plate when warm and serve.
