Twice this week. Actually, it will be three times counting tomorrow (date night!)
Yeaaahh. That’s helping my diet a ton.
Tuesday we went to our old standby, Don Pablos. It was great as usual, but after reviewing their nutrition info online (did you know some of their meals have, like, 150 grams of fat??) I opted for chips, salsa, and tortilla soup. Still yummy, albeit not as rich and cheesy.
Tonight we went to Bertucci’s. They didn’t have nutrition info online. Good thing, too, because I would hate to know what was in what I ate. Good Gracious it was good. Tortellini in a big ol’ sloppy cheesey sauce with chicken and tomatoes and, well, more cheese. Needless to say, I ate a tiny bit and opted to save the rest. Non-dieting me would have had to restrain myself from licking whatever remained of the sauce from the dish after polishing it off…but I have had such a good week, I didn’t want to mess it up. Also had one uber yummy roll dipped in olive oil and a salad with fat free dressing. I’m still probably waaay over my fat intake today, but I left feeling just full and not stuffed, so mission accomplished. We’ll see tomorrow if the scale agrees with me.
