Tested…
Today featured many tests to my healthful-eating endurance. On the way to pick up DS, I was waiting at a red light beside a Tastykake truck. This one featured these suckers on the side of the truck:
I was suddenly filled with the urge to leave the car, climb in the passenger side window of the truck, and pillage all of the TastyKake yumminess right then and there.
I restrained myself.
Then my mom and dad called to inform me they were willing to pick up Five Guys burgers and fries and bring them over to the house. Too enamored with the idea to say no, I told my mom to make sure mine didn’t have any mayo.
Yeah. Like that would make a difference.
I did only eat half the burger, and "just a couple" of their scrumptious beach fries.
Yup. I had a salad with a side of lunch guilt for dinner. How did you guess?
And no, Tastykakes are NOT on my list for the supermarket tomorrow.

Glad you could resist the temptations but you are definitely right, Does cupcakes make you want to run to the supermarket!!!
Oh yum! I love tasty cakes…how I miss them! They don’t sell them in Hawaii (go figure, huh?). You can do it!!!
wow, just reading your blog made me hungry. Or maybe I was already hungry. Oh yeah, I remember, I am always hungry these days! I agree…. the 5 guys burgers and the tastycakes are too much temptation!!! Hey…why don’t you come and live with us…..
