Whew! We’re three weeks into our homeschool year! It’s been great so far, but boy, am I tired. It’s amazing how “out of the swing of things” I got in just a few short months. It’s going to be a while yet before my planning and prep time become as streamlined as last school year! [...]
I think I may have mentioned once or twice before on this blog that last school year we started (and love) the ARTistic Pursuits curriculum for our art classes. Well, one of the lessons was “Artists Show Their Work,” so this past weekend, that’s just what we did!
Our fourth was quite fun. We all picnicked at my in-laws where much meat, salads and other yummy sides were consumed. My favorites? Dad-in-Law’s Kielbasa and my Mom-in-Law’s Fried Rice. The kids ran around like crazy-heads for a while, then I corralled them for some crafty time (visors and beads).
