These are some of my very favorite recipes. Where possible, I will attempt to link to the source of the recipe. This part of my blog is under construction. Once I get this category page all sorted out, these recipes will be listed in alphabetical order, and eventually in subcategories as the list grows.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew(0)

Beef Stew and I have had a love/hate relationship. I have never felt good about serving the over-salted, processed, canned stuff, the packet kits never taste just right, and my from-scratch attempts have been sketchy at best. Until now! I found this recipe online and tweaked it to make it my own. Yum. Slow cooker stew success!

 

Our Favorite Pancakes(1)

This is straight from Bisquick’s site. We love this recipe. We use the Heart Smart Bisquick mix and the pancakes turn out wonderful. Light, fluffy, and delicious with organic maple syrup. A little bacon on the side, and you have the perfect Saturday morning breakfast. Our daughter loves to help me prepare these.

Monkey Bread(0)

I’m finally posting another recipe! I made monkey bread this morning, and actually remembered to get hubby to take a photo of it! This recipe is really easy, using store bought breadstick dough as a short cut. It tastes very yummy, and not overly “Pillsbury-ish” for lack of a better term!

 

Barbecued Beans(0)

This is a delicious BBQ Beans recipe I received from a friend years ago. It’s super easy, but it tastes like you slaved all afternoon. These beans make a great potluck side dish. I’ve made a couple of changes/additions, which I’ve noted in the recipe.
