While DD was watching a McDonald’s commercial today, she pointed at Ronald McDonald and stated, “That’s the Happy Meal Jesus.”
So Bob and I are in the car the other day with the kids, and I’m reading the class schedule for our local YMCA. I comment aloud, “Oh, this particular class is seven half hour sessions.” Seconds later, we hear our five year old son state, “That’s 3 hours with one half hour left over.” [...]
Bob and the kids were playing superhero tonight. Well, actually Bob was the villain…he’d hide around the corner and jump out, much to the little giggling superheros’ delight. At one point, he jumped out and really surprised DS. Once DS recovered from the initial surprise, he commented, "I wondered why my spidey-senses were tingling!"
On our way to Grandma and Pop-Pop’s today, DD was doing her usual chit-chatting in the back seat.
